What IKONFORGE does
IKONFORGE is a project-first marketplace. Customers describe work they need; IKONFORGE may review the brief and introduce potentially suitable independent professionals. IKONFORGE is not the contractor carrying out the work and does not guarantee that a match, quotation or appointment will be available.
Submitting a project
There is no fee merely for submitting a project. Information must be accurate, lawful and relevant. A submission is a request for review, not acceptance of a quotation or formation of a building contract.
Professionals and quotations
Professionals act independently and remain responsible for their qualifications, insurance, licences, availability, site assessment, quotation, tax and work. Verification reduces risk but is not a guarantee. Customers should review the final scope, price, exclusions, timing and professional credentials before agreeing work.
Contracts and payments
Unless IKONFORGE states otherwise in writing for a specific transaction, the work contract is between the customer and the professional. Do not make payment outside an agreed and documented process. Statutory consumer rights are not excluded or reduced by these terms.
Acceptable use
Users must not misuse the service, upload harmful or unlawful material, impersonate others, evade platform safeguards, scrape private data or use another person’s information without authority.
Problems
Tell IKONFORGE promptly about incorrect information, safety concerns, suspected fraud or a dispute and include the relevant reference. We may pause or remove records or access while checking a concern.
Early-access status
The service is being developed and features may change. Nothing here limits liability where doing so would be unlawful. These terms are governed by the laws applicable in England and Wales, subject to any mandatory rights that apply to you.
